So cool until I saw that it's front wheel drive AND lacking a turbo. It's like someone at AMG predicted the future for appearance only packages.

These do have more power than the standard ones though

It’s a Mitsubishi to me...
The game commences...
For the usual fees....plus expenses.

It was more of a handling package. Of love to drive one hard sometime and see how it compares to my VR-4

I did not know this was a thing.
I actually owned a galant of this era, but it was the GVR4. Seriously fun car. It liked to eat transmissions, but I was running an FP Red and a built engine, so that was my own fault. When it wasn’t destroying 3rd and 5th gear, it spent it’s time absolutely astonishing people who thought it was a “ricer.” You would have thought the massive eBay intercooler was a dead giveaway, but apparently not.. Almost makes me want another sleeper.

An imported car in California with a Washington title. A tale as old as time.

These and the Debonair AMGs are popular donors for their AMG-branded valve covers that fit other 4G motors. You see them sometimes on high-end Evo builds.

How weird. I didn’t even know these existed, and I have harbored a secret lust for the VR-4 Galant for many years now.
